Susan L. McGreevy

With decades of experience advising firms working in the construction industry from the perspective of a law firm, Susan McGreevy is now serving as an independent board member to such firms. Previously, Susan was a Partner at Stinson Leonard Street, LLP in Kansas City, MO, where she advised construction companies, sureties, design professionals, and owners in their day-to-day business ventures. She specialized in drafting and negotiating of all types of agreements, dispute resolutions, strategic and succession planning, and represented sureties in bond claims and litigation. Formerly, Susan was a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. She has presented at numerous industry events, including those of CFMA, AGC, the International Municipal Lawyers Association, Kansas Contractors Association, Surety Association of Kansas City, American Society of Professional Estimators, and National Association of Women in Construction.

A longtime author for CFMA Building Profits, Susan has been a member of the Kansas City Chapter for more than 10 years.
